Shhhh... Testing in Progress

A garden-growing, pest control-spraying, novel-writing, violin-teaching, homestead-experimenting, talent-developing, homeschooling, learning as we go, and enjoying the motorcycle-riding journey kind of family...

Backwards Girl

So Debany likes to be called by her superhero name:
"Backwards Girl."

So, to check and make sure this is a good thing, I looked it up and found this:
Pretty neat!

Our Future Home

We were given the address to the future rural development lots
and then ventured on our way to scope them out!
Here is the intersection where we are looking at building.
What a view, right?!
Something about this map is fishy...
Hopefully the numbers are right and the map is just off.
We're looking at Lot 4...
11,035 sq. ft.
210 N ends at a horse field (where I see lots of carrots fed there in the future)
On the other side of '450 W' (really 500 W) is a subdivision
with homes settled there for 3 yrs. or more.
Next to lots 4,5,6 - a charter school
On the other side of the horse field - a high school
(lots of loud band and football games go on there)
Next to lots of 1,2,3 - a Jr. High School
(And there's talk of an elementary school going in next to it)
We're surrounded by schools!
Ha ha ha ah ah... hmmm.
Here's our desired house plan.
We did a walk through a model and
talked with the new owners and fell in love with it!
(Kind of funny, because we were in love with another one - only on paper though.)
It's going to be AWESOME!!!
When do we start?!

The Sea Witch Has Stolen My Voice!

If any of you find it, PLEASE bring it back to me!!!
Yes. I continue to struggle with keeping my voice.
Unfortunately, this scandalous, thieving witch snatches my voice -
IN MY SLEEP!
It takes me a few days to track her down, and a couple more to execute a plan to snatch it back.
No matter how I try to secure it, she finds a way around my security cameras and ingenious strategy plans.
First, I tried hiding it under water. But, well, duh.
She's an octopus - who is obviously NOT wasting
away to practically nothing.
She scared off all of my substitutes, and taught my classes -
nearly drowning my students.
Do not trust this one.
I've tried swallowing my voice, to hiding it in my shoe, pulling all-nighters (which never work out), to lending it to Dane (didn't go over so well at his work)...
PLEASE, send ideas.
Help me save my voice!!!
