Debany Counts to 100!

Debany was looking at one of Dane's tests.  

It was a multiple choice AB or C and had 60 questions on it.  

I started asking Debany random numbers -- what they were.

And then we started counting.  She went all the way to 60!

I made the comment, "I think you could count all the way to 100!"

I walked away, thinking.  Then came back and said, "Let's do it!  100!!!"

And she did.  She was finally getting the concept of going from 

one number set to another (20's to 30's to 40's and so on).  

The best part... seeing it click in her eyes.  

She's such a smart little cookie.
